Connect Google Sheets
Google Sheets lets you pull a registration/attendee list straight from a sheet — handy when your data lives in a spreadsheet rather than a registration platform. It's pull-only and runs through the same importer as the Excel/CSV upload.
What you'll need
- A Google account with access to the sheet.
- The sheet shared so the connected Google account can read it.
Connect
- In SYSOI, open Connections → Google Sheets → Connect.
- Authorize SYSOI in the Google window (read-only access to your sheets).
- The card shows Connected.
Point it at a sheet
- On the connected card, paste the full sheet URL
(https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/…/edit#gid=…) — SYSOI extracts the id for you.
- Optionally name the tab to read (defaults to the first tab).
- Map it to a SYSOI event.
How rows are read
SYSOI smart-detects the header row and maps common columns automatically — email, first/last name, company, title, phone, and a domain/website column. Rows with no email (and no company + name) are skipped; the sync reports how many. Contacts ingest as registered (and checked-in if a check-in/attended column is present).
Pull & verify
Run a sync from the card, then open Records for the mapped event. If some rows were skipped, the count is shown — usually rows missing an email.
Tip
Keep one header row at the top with clear column names (Email, First Name, Last Name, Company, Title…). SYSOI matches on aliases, but clean headers match best.
